Toutefois, le <a href=\"https:\/\/consciencesansfrontieres.org\/index.php\/conscience-sans-frontieres-accueil\/nos-actions\/evenements\/programme-intervenants\/sylvie-cafardy-3\/\">Dr. Sylvie Cafardy<\/a>, experte des EMI, affirme que ces ph\u00e9nom\u00e8nes peuvent \u00e9galement survenir lors d&#8217;un choc \u00e9motionnel ou physique, une relaxation importante, une anesth\u00e9sie, une m\u00e9ditation profonde ou une sieste. \u00c0 la suite de cette exp\u00e9rience, les &#8220;exp\u00e9rienceurs&#8221;, comme elle les nomme, reviennent transform\u00e9s et perdent g\u00e9n\u00e9ralement toute peur de la mort. Cependant, un exp\u00e9rienceur sur sept en ressort marqu\u00e9 n\u00e9gativement, \u00e0 tel point que son EMI va avoir des cons\u00e9quences n\u00e9fastes sur leur quotidien, comme le t\u00e9moigne Bertrand sur Happy End.<br \/>\nL&#8217;appellation EMI provient du livre Le Moi des mourants, \u00e9crit par le psychologue fran\u00e7ais Victor Egger en 1896, dans lequel il recense plusieurs r\u00e9cits d&#8217;alpinistes qui auraient v\u00e9cu ce qu&#8217;il appelle une EMI, lors de chutes.
